We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in test automation, C#, SQL, and data integration projects.

The selected professional will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive testing strategies for complex data solutions and system integrations. The role requires technical autonomy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to understand business processes and translate them into effective test scenarios.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and data platforms such as Databricks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Playwright or similar automation frameworks.
• Define and execute test strategies for data integrations and enterprise systems.
• Understand business processes and translate requirements into comprehensive test scenarios.
• Create, document, and maintain QA test plans in Azure DevOps.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate data quality, integrity, consistency, and transformation processes.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries in SQL Server.
• Test data workflows and solutions developed on Databricks.
• Execute and monitor Databricks jobs when required.
• Validate event-driven integrations and data flows involving Kafka.
• Generate and maintain automated testing reports in different formats, including HTML, Cucumber JSON, and JUnit XML.
• Integrate automated test results and reports with Azure DevOps.
• Identify, document, track, and communicate defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and other QA professionals.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a Senior QA Engineer or QA Automation Engineer.
• Solid hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and SQL.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar test automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including the ability to write complex queries for data validation.
• Previous experience testing data integrations, data pipelines, or data-intensive solutions.
• Experience creating and maintaining QA test plans in Azure DevOps.
• Experience using Visual Studio Code or similar development environments.
• Experience integrating automated test results into Azure DevOps.Familiarity with Databricks projects and data workflows.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development and testing practices.
• Ability to work autonomously, understand complex business processes, and propose effective test cases.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience executing and monitoring Databricks Jobs.
• Experience testing distributed, event-driven, or streaming architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
• Previous experience working with international or distributed teams.
