About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright and Python to join a team working on complex enterprise systems.

The selected professional will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests, performing manual testing when required, and ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of web applications and REST API integrations.

This position requires technical autonomy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and other QA professionals in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and Python.
• Perform automated and manual testing for enterprise applications and system integrations.
• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
• Develop automated tests for web applications and REST APIs.
• Validate API functionality, responses, integrations, and data consistency.
• Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Create, document, and maintain test plans and test cases in Azure DevOps.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive testing scenarios.
• Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects.
• Review test results, investigate failures, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain test automation code and documentation using Visual Studio Code.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing when automation is not appropriate.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with distributed technical teams and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a Senior QA Engineer or QA Automation Engineer.
• Advanced hands-on experience in test automation using Python.
• Strong experience using Playwright for Web UI automation.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of REST API testing and automation.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, including test management and CI/CD integration.
• Experience working with Visual Studio Code.
• Ability to understand technical and business requirements and propose effective test scenarios.
• Experience combining automated and manual testing approaches.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with international, multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Agile software development and testing practices.
• English proficiency suitable for working in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience testing complex enterprise systems and system integrations.
• Knowledge of Python testing frameworks such as Pytest.
• Experience integrating automated tests and reports into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Bruno.
